Following Iran’s next move after Israel’s attack, what are the Iranian newspapers saying?

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has responded with restraint to the Israeli attacks.

He has avoided promising immediate retaliation, saying it should not be underestimated or exaggerated.

However, Iranian President Massoud Pezheshkian has said Iran would “respond appropriately” to the attack.

But he has also said Iran does not want war. Iran has admitted that at least four soldiers were killed in Israeli attacks.

Israel said it had struck military facilities in several locations in Iran on Saturday in response to the Iranian attacks.

In response, Israel fired some 200 ballistic missiles on Oct. 1.

On Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel had targeted Iran’s air defense and missile capabilities.

He said the attacks had “seriously damaged Iran’s defense and missile capabilities.”

He said: “Iran should understand a simple principle: whoever hurts us, we will hurt them.”

Iran, on the other hand, has not officially claimed much damage from the attack and says most of the missiles have been stopped.

Iran has said that some of the missiles caused only limited damage to the air defense system.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has called the Israeli strike on Iran on October 26 a “bad move.”

However, he said that the attack should not be underestimated or exaggerated.

According to Iranian government news agency IRNA, Khamenei said this during a meeting with the families of security forces killed in the Israeli strike on October 27.

In response to Iran’s massive missile attack on Israel on October 1, Israel carried out airstrikes on several Iranian military targets in the early hours of October 26.

According to Iran, at least four Iranian soldiers were killed in the attacks.

Khamenei said that Israel was “exaggerating” its attacks, which was “incorrect,” but added that it would also be “incorrect” to say that “those attacks were insignificant.”

Khamenei said Israel had made a “miscalculation” regarding Iran.

He said: “They do not know Iran. They do not know the Iranian youth, the Iranian nation. They have not yet properly understood our strength and capabilities. We must make them understand the will of the Iranian nation.”

Iranian media showed images of normal conditions continuing in the country.

The media showed that the impact of the Israeli strikes was quite limited. Analysts say they were aimed at calming the Iranians.

The Iranian press praised the country’s air defense system after the Israeli airstrike on October 26, saying it completely neutralized the effects of the attacks.

The Iranian press was the first to react to the Israeli strike on October 27, as the October 26 editions had already been published at the time of the attack.

The headlines of the reformist Sazandegi daily and the government-owned Jam-e-Jam daily read: “Iron Air Defense System.”

The business daily Donya-e-Iqtesad published a photo of the sky over Tehran with the headline: “Iran’s air defense system to be named tonight.”

Iranian media described the attack as less “deadly.” A government-run Iranian daily also threatened a counterattack.

The far-right daily Kihan called Israel’s attack a “pre-climax.” The daily said now was “the time for Iran’s devastating response.”

Keyhan also said that all was well in Iran. The daily published front-page photos of the general hustle and bustle of cities.

The conservative daily Quds headlined: “Peace in Tehran, Unrest in Tel Aviv.”
