Oli goes on tour to China without invitation

At the same time, a senior source in the Foreign Ministry said that after KP Oli assumed office as Prime Minister, neither India nor China had invited him for an official visit so far. However, PM Oli’s proposed visit to China will be his first visit to the neighbouring country after assuming office.

Prime Minister KP Oli met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi last month in New York during the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). During this time, PM Oli invited Narendra Modi to visit Nepal. According to the newspaper “Moja Republika”, PM Oli’s visit to China is possible in November. However, the dates have not been fixed yet. However, preparations are underway to ensure that PM KP Oli’s possible visit is a success.
