The Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit faction) has released its first list of candidates for the Maharashtra Assembly elections.
The list also includes the name of party president and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. He will contest the elections from Baramati.
The NCP (Ajit faction) has released the names of a total of 38 candidates in the first list. Chhagan Bhujbal has been given a ticket from Yeol, while Dilip Walse Patil has been given a ticket from Ambegaon.
This time, the NCP (Ajit faction) will be contesting the elections in alliance with the BJP for the first time. The Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) is also a part of this alliance.
