Mumbai and Punjab Police arrested an accused wanted in the Baba Siddiqui murder case.
Punjab Police has provided information in this regard. A post in this regard also appeared on the official account ‘X’ of the office of the DGP (Director General of Police) of Punjab Police.
According to the statement from the DGP office, “Mumbai Police, in a joint operation with Punjab Police, arrested Sujit Sushil Singh, a resident of Mumbai, wanted in connection with the high-profile murder of Baba Siddiqui.”
According to Punjab Police, “Sujit was involved in a conspiracy to murder Baba Siddiqui and informed Nitin Gautam and another accused about the plan three days ago. Sujit also helped him. He has been handed over to Mumbai Police for further investigation.”
On the night of October 12, NCP leader and former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui was shot dead in Mumbai’s Bandra district.
