There has been another train accident! 2 buses derailed in Saharanpur; chaos on the railway

Another rail accident occurred in the country today. Two coaches of a goods train derailed near Saharanpur railway station in Uttar Pradesh. The goods train was filled with grain which spilled on the tracks. The freight train was travelling from Guruharsahay in Punjab to Bamheri. There was no serious loss of life or property but the accident certainly caused panic among railway officials. Railway officials reached the spot and investigated the cause of the derailment of the coaches. The accident occurred on the track reserved for a goods train heading towards Tapri from Line 7.

The accident did not affect the rail traffic and the remaining trains are running as scheduled. There was no impact on the passenger trains. Because the accident occurred on a track built for goods trains. Railway authorities said a team has been formed to find out the cause of the accident and will submit its report soon. The speed and condition of the track of the goods train are being checked. Railway passengers have expressed concern over the accident but the Railway Department has assured that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure the safety of the passengers.
